Somarian's marketing team is based in Khartoum in order to maintain contact with the actual importers and exporters, most of whom have a head office or main representative agency in Khartoum.
Somarain provides both marketing leads and cargo booking. We actively monitor public tenders and new major projects in the private sector, from government, NGOs and other agencies.
We provide regular market data, monitor competitors and provide frequent updates on port conditions. The economic situation of the last decade resulted in a very low level of cash flow and availability to identify trade finance requirements and can introduce clients to facilities. Key consignees can obtain credit of stevedoring and custom clearance in order to minimize discharge delays.

Continuous study of export & import market policies based on direct follow up of the agricultural products export & import expectation allow earlier accurate forecast to correctly inform our clients, the exporters & importers.
